The Rotater Review
If you've been plagued by shoulder pain, you may have some issues with your rotator cuff, which is a group of muscles and tendons in the shoulder that gives the shoulder its stability. It also allows you to throw a baseball. One of the most frequently occurring injuries in any sport where throwing is involved is the tearing of the rotator cuff. Once torn, the rotator cuff generally doesn't self-heal. However, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, as they say! The Rotater is a simple device that has been designed to help you strengthen and stretch the rotator cuff complex. This review of the Rotater will show you how this little machine can help you make your rotator cuff less prone to injury.
To start off, I asked the co-inventor of the Rotater for a review copy; he willingly obliged. Once I received it in the mail, my initial reaction was, "This is too simple to be any good." Boy, was I wrong. The beauty of the device is in its very simplicity. Packed with an instructional DVD along with some detailed exercise drawings with full descriptions, the Rotater is super-easy to use. As a matter of fact, I was able to exercise my rotator cuffs the minute I opened the package - it's just that simple to use! There are basically 4 stretches and 3 strengthening exercises. The detailed illustrations make learning the movements super-simple. The DVD makes everything even clearer. Key benefits, alluded to before, of using the Rotater are increased shoulder function, flexibility, range of motion and strength. One of the key accessories you'll want to get with your purchase is the "Strong Arm" accessory, which allows you to perform the 3 strengthening exercises. This is a high-quality product made right here in the US. It's small, lightweight, and portable. You can literally take the Rotater anywhere. It easily fits in a suitcase so there's no reason at all to let your shoulder health suffer while you're on vacation or traveling for work. I know that I'm going to be a life-long user of the product. Many years ago, I suffered not one but two rotator cuff tears. I know what it's like to live with that pain. I chose not to have surgery, simply because I really try to avoid going under the knife at all costs (this coming from a guy who's had 3 knee operations and an emergency appendectomy). Every once in a while, the pain would flare up and it was pretty intense, especially when both cuffs gave me trouble at the same time. Now, I haven't had enough time using the device to determine if it's a long-term cure for me. But I can tell you that after only using the Rotater for a few days, my shoulders feel brand-new. I cannot say enough good things about the Rotater. It is simple to use and it delivers on its promise. What more could you ask for?
