About Me

I'm Muscle-Build.com and I'm here to serve you! My objective with this web site is to provide you with the self-service and self-help information you need to build muscle, lose fat, and get bigger and stronger.

In short, I'm here to make you better. Bodybuilding has come a long way in the 30 years I've been following it. Professional bodybuilders are bigger than ever and more ripped, too. They are the extreme achievers in our sport.

Whether you aspire to reach that level, just get in shape, or look better in a bathing suit at the beach, the information in these pages will give you the knowledge, tools, and information that you need to accomplish your goals.

I personally started training with weights when I was 12. I remember going to K-Mart and picking up the boxes (card board boxes that were already broken from the plastic and concrete weight plates inside!) and the the barbell (a hollow piece of aluminum with a cheap sleeve) as if it were yesterday. I think it was 110 pounds, and I could surely never aspire to lift that much weight!

I kept at it religiously for 20 years. I got strong and I got pretty big. I was always fairly lean (body fat sub- 6% most of the time) and I had a hard time gaining weight until my very late 20s. In my early 30s I stumbled onto some strategies that I hadn't really ever tried before. We'll talk more about that in the Muscle and subsequent sections underneath that heading.

Suffice it to say that I've read many books, tried hundreds of weight training routines, and have experimented with many nutritional supplements. I have a breadth and depth of knowledge that a lot of practitioners of the sport don't have.

I hope you'll keep coming back to this site, as there is so much information out there: Some good, some not so good, and some downright dangerous.
